Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon

Asparagus is one of my favorite greens!

I usually just drizzle these babies with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle pepper, grated parmesan and roast it for a few minutes in the oven or stir fry it on a non stick pan and then snack on it piece by piece. But this time, I've decided to cut these into small parts and wrap six short stalks with half a slice of lean bacon each. Le Sigh! Everything is just better with bacon.

I just seasoned this batch with pepper and cooked it over the stove with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. Delicious! It's a low carb lovers dream!
